The hotel offered spacious rooms with plenty of room to move around, which was a nice surprise. The staff was friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience. the hotel provided a security service for the parking lot, ensuring the safety of guests' vehicles.

The hotel's elevators were slow, which was a bit inconvenient. Another downside was that some guests did not adhere to the non-smoking policy on the designated floor.

The location is ideal for those who like to be able to find their hotel in the dark. Arrived once the sun set so being able to take few roads to find it was a big plus. This hotel was easy to navigate from to find the hospltal and doctors offices we had to visit.

The hallways were a bit messy. Staff should clean them more regularly.

I recently stayed at this hotel for the third time and I am always impressed with its great location. It's right across from the university and the metro station, making it perfectly situated for visiting the Miami area. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious, with beds that guarantee a good night's sleep. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job of keeping everything spotless. And to top it off, breakfast is included, so you can start your day off right without any additional cost.

Everything about my stay at this hotel was great.

I felt that we got good value for the money spent: nice swimming pool courtyard area, tennis court less than a block away, nice rooms--close to being luxurious with extras such as firm and soft pillows. Good beds too! Also, management was quick to make amends for an absent newspaper (in the lobby) on the first day by arranging on the second day to slip a morning newspaper under the room door. Nice touch since we did not make a big deal about the absent newspaper.

Regrettably, the hotel is located a fair distance from the downtown area of Coral Gables with its substantial shopping/dining opportunities.

This is the first time in all of my years of hotel stays that we were in a room that did not come equipped with a fridge. Our room also had no balcony. Breakfast was not included in our rates. It seemed to me that when you book this hotel through this web site you just get a plain room. Perhaps it helps the hotel management offset the reduced price that we pay on this site. When we requested a fridge we were told that they would try but then we never heard from the front desk again........

The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a clean and comfortable bed. It was conveniently located near the university and other popular places in the city. the hotel offered a discount for students visiting the university, which was a great advantage.

The breakfast buffet was not very impressive, with limited options that were not worth the price. the parking fees mentioned by other guests were a concern, as it seemed inconsistent and unclear.

Location was close to where I wanted to be. Wifi access was fast, easy and free.

Hotel looked old and in need of major upgrades. Air conditioners were window-type, extremely loud when running, so I had to turn it off to sleep. Shower had long hairs on the floor belonging to some other guest. Room safe did not work. Remote control for tv did not work. Extremely thin walls allowed all sorts of noise to filter in from the other rooms. They did not clean the room until after 4 pm.

This Holiday Inn was perfectly located for our trips to South Beach, Miami, Key Buscayne, and the most beautiful Coral Gables. It was very reasonable with a good layout and enjoyable pool area. We were happy with our decision to stay here and recommend it if you do not care to stay in the cities but close enough to get to them. It was very clean and quite comfortable. The location was also easily accessible to the Miami Airport.

The location of the hotel is very convenient for those attending events at the Bank United Center or wanting to explore downtown attractions. It is also close to the University Metrorail station, making it easy to navigate the city. the hotel provides a safe and quiet environment, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. the hotel offers a small gift shop, free Wi-Fi, and several computers with a printer in the lobby to use.

The room I stayed in was a bit outdated and could benefit from some improvements.

Staff were not very helpful upon checking in. The air conditioning was very noisy making it difficult to sleep. If the air conditioning was turned off the room became very hot.
